Laobao AI Beginner Guide: Create Your First Product Image Set
A complete guide for new users: registration, invite codes, credits, image preparation, all five tools, retries, downloads, and generation history.
Welcome to Laobao AI. This workspace helps physical stores and ecommerce teams create product kits, detail-page modules, product replicas, apparel visuals, and takeout image sets.
Follow this guide to create your first AI Product Kit in about ten minutes.
1. Register and Get an Invite Code
- Click Get Started or any tool card on the homepage.
- If you are signed out, the site opens the sign-in page and remembers your destination.
- Choose Sign Up if you do not have an account.
- When an invite code is required, click Get an invite code beside the field.
- Use the contact dialog to reach support, receive a code, and finish registration.
After signing in or registering, you will return to the tool you originally selected.
2. Plans and Credits
- Each generated image costs 100 credits.
- 5,000 credits generate about 50 images.
- Product, apparel, and takeout kits usually contain six images and cost 600 credits.
- Detail images usually contain eight modules and cost 800 credits.
- Product Replicate supports 1, 4, or 8 outputs and charges by output count.
Contact an administrator or support to activate a plan. View your balance and transactions under Settings → Credits.
Credits are returned when task submission fails, a task ends in failure, or a task is cancelled.
3. Prepare a Good Reference Image
Use a clear image with the full product visible, even lighting, and a clean background. Front, side, and detail views of the same product improve consistency. Avoid watermarks, QR codes, and infringing logos.
Prepare a truthful product title, short selling points, and specifications. Never invent dimensions, materials, prices, or certifications.
4. Create Your First Product Kit
Open AI Product Kit and follow these steps:
- Choose your merchant type. This controls the recommended channels, visual priorities, and image names.
- Upload product images. Confirm that clear previews appear before generating.
- Enter product information. Use one short selling point per line and format specs as
Name: Value. - Generate copy if needed. Review all AI-written details before using them in an image.
- Choose channel, style, and size. Use
1:1for main images,3:4for lifestyle and apparel,4:5for ecommerce listings, and9:16for vertical content. - Submit the kit. The system creates six tasks and refreshes their status every three seconds.
The six standard outputs are the main product image, scene image, selling-point image, specification image, detail image, and comparison image.
5. Preview, Download, Delete, and Retry
- Click a completed image for a large preview.
- Use Download Image to save the result.
- Choose Local Edit, paint or box-select an area, and describe the change to create a new inpainted result for 100 credits.
- Delete images and history entries you no longer need.
- Click a failed image or Regenerate to retry only that image.
A single retry costs 100 credits. It does not regenerate the whole set, and credits are returned if the retry fails again.
6. Choose the Right Tool
| Tool | Best for | Typical output | | --------------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ---------------- | | AI Product Kit | Listing images, scenes, selling points, specs, and details | 6 images | | AI Detail Images | Pain points, overview, benefits, specs, comparisons, and after-sales modules | 8 images | | Product Replicate | Same-style product image variations | 1 / 4 / 8 images | | Apparel Kit | White-background apparel, model looks, fabric details, and posters | 6 images | | Takeout Kit | Dish main images, meal combos, ingredients, and promotion graphics | 6 images |
Start with a Product Kit, then add Detail Images for a complete listing workflow. Apparel and food sellers should use their dedicated tools for more relevant prompts and layouts.
7. Generation History
Open Generation History to preview, download, delete, and retry results from every tool. Running tasks continue to update when the history page is open.
8. Tips for Better Results
- Keep one product identity per generation.
- Use short titles and short selling-point lines.
- Provide real dimensions, materials, and capacities.
- Match the reference-image angle to the intended output.
- Reduce on-image text when typography is unstable.
- Avoid platform logos, brand marks, QR codes, and contact details.
- Test one Product Replicate image before choosing a batch of four or eight.
9. Common Questions
Why is my task queued? Generation is asynchronous and may queue briefly. The page polls automatically. Timed-out tasks fail and return their credits.
Why does the product look different? Use clearer references, remove unrelated objects, and upload multiple views of the same product.
Why do I see insufficient credits? The selected batch costs more than your balance. Contact support for a plan or reduce the Product Replicate output count.
How do I contact support? Click Contact Us in the header or footer to open the configured support and VIP group dialog.
